[Guide] Setting Up A Roleplay
First off, you're going to want to figure out where to set up camp!
If you plan on creating a roleplay with mature themes, you're going to want to post it in Adult Roleplaying. Here users can safely write without limits on depictions of graphic language, sex, violence and nudity.
If not, you're free to post anywhere in our main Roleplaying section.
Next, you'll want to figure out what category to post it within. Here we have categories split up by genre. Don't worry if you're feeling lost, below each category is a quick description on each genre. This will make it all the more easy for users to find just what their looking for!
After you settle on a home for your new roleplay, it's time to set it up. The best thing you can do is make your thread as accessible, informational and easy to navigate as you possibly can. I'll give an example, but by all means, this is your roleplay and feel free to drop, add to or completely derail from the outline I'm about to suggest. Creative freedom, man!
The Basics
After you're all set up and you feel everything is exactly how you would like, I suggest heading on over to Recruitment and post a thread there to get the word out! And remember, here at OMFGRPG we offer many other helpful tools for getting everything you want out of your roleplay experience. Don't be afraid to use them!
